Would the Real Joseph Smith Please Stand Up?

A few decades ago when I started telling people about the return of Joseph Smith and providing the plethora of scriptural and prophetic evidence to support it, I did not get a good reception. Some would look cross-eyed at me in bewilderment. Others would become angry. At one point I was called in by my Stake President and he tried to real me in.

But I was persistent. I even ended up speaking at a symposium on the topic.

Over the years the concept gradually gained a little traction here and there.

Of course, I was certainly not the first person to believe this prophetic end times scenario. It was once common belief among the early saints in Utah. A prominent LDS hymn made inference to it and some fundamentalist groups can still find it taught by their leaders years ago.

In more recent times several fringe groups have embraced the doctrine in one form or another. This includes a guy in Brazil who believes he is the reincarnation of Joseph Smith and a few guys in Utah Valley who claim they have met Joseph and that he is in a cave translating ancient records. Another false prophet claims he represents the return of Hyrum Smith.

But we now have hot news fresh off of the press, this doctrine has now been embraced by some mainstream Mormons.

Some guy named “Micah” began promoting this doctrine several months ago. He was curious to know if anyone else was teaching it and one of his keyword searches landed him at my youtube page listening to Mrs Watcher give numerous prophetic references to the event. He asked if we could provide him with a transcript of the video series. Sadly we don’t have one in that the paper she was reading from was written decades ago and no digital format is available. (although it has since occurred to me that youtube has a really cool feature that allows you to get a written transcript)

Naturally, once Micah learned that I am not an active Mormon, he fled. Nevertheless, Micah was now armed with even more evidence to back up his teachings about the return of Joseph Smith.

Eventually, Micah speculated to his LDS listeners that Joseph Smith was under the Salt Lake Temple in a room created during the renovation translating ancient scriptures.

Many people have wondered what the real reason is for the renovation of the Salt Lake Temple. For decades I have heard how inspired Brigham Young was for building a temple with very think granite walls that could withstand earthquakes and would last into the millennium. And yet, now for some strange reason, the temple needs to be reinforced to withstand an earthquake.

Hmm..

It does seem a little fishy.

There is likely something major taking place under the temple beyond earthquake proofing it.

Realizing that the federal government has had a major secretive renovation done under the Whitehouse and that several underground fall out shelters are in place all over the United States to house and protect the political and military elite in times of calamity, it would make sense that the LDS leaders desire to have an emergency place prepared for themselves and their loved ones.

There may be an interesting type at play here in that some of the leading Jews at the time that the Roman soldiers were attacking the city fled into the temple thinking that it would provide a refuge for them from the storm.. sadly they died. ( See Jer 7:4 as a type “temple of the Lord, temple of the Lord” (see) …

But getting back to Micah, his most recent speculation, in addition to Joseph Smith doing his translation work under the temple, is that the reason for the mysterious Hosanna Shout in General Conference 2020 was to cryptically welcome the return of Joseph Smith!

Imagine that..

I can only imagine what the conversation among the brethren was like, if Micah’s speculation is accurate.. “lets have the saints globally welcome Joseph Smith back from the dead without telling the saints that they are welcoming Joseph Smith back from the dead!” LOL

It will be fascinating to see if church leaders eventually slap Micah’s hands for his teachings about Joseph Smith.

In the past, people like Avraham Gileadi have been disciplined for teaching that an end times servant of the Lord will come to prepare the saints. In the past, the brethren have been very threatened by such a notion and have taken action against those who promote it. They do not plan on having an outsider take control of their kingdom and preside over them.

On the other hand, if a new messenger who claims to return from the dead were to work from within, allowing the brethren to maintain their dignity and help to control the narrative, perhaps the LDS church is finally ready to use these prophecies about the return of Joseph Smith to usher in a false Messiah.

Time will tell.

Have you ever heard of Saint Paisios the Athonite?

Me neither.

I recently noticed an interesting article online that mentions a book and a prophecy by Saint Paisios of Athos. There is also a related video

According to wiki:

Saint Paisios of Mount Athos (Greek: Ὅσιος Παΐσιος ὁ Ἁγιορείτης, pronounced [ˈo:sios pai̯:sios o aɣiori̯◌ːtis]; secular name: Arsenios Eznepidis) (1924–1994), was a well-known Greek Eastern Orthodox ascetic from Mount Athos, who originated from Pharasa, Cappadocia. He was respected for his spiritual guidance and ascetic life and many people worldwide highly venerate Elder Paisios, especially in Greece and in Russia.[8][9][10]

Venerable Elder Paisios was canonized on 13 January 2015 by the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate,[3] and the church commemorates his feast day on June 29 [OS] / July 12 [NS].[5][6]

The Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church decided at its meeting of 5 May 2015 also to add the name of the Venerable Paisios of Mount Athos to the Menology of the Russian Orthodox Church, establishing his feast day on June 29/July 12, aligning with the Menology of the Orthodox Church of Constantinople[7] during the present century.

Saint Paisios the Athonite in Spiritual Bravery in the chapter “The Signs of the Times” warned that

The Vax Deaths Are Rising

Highly cited COVID doctor comes to stunning conclusion: Gov’t ‘scrubbing unprecedented numbers’ of injection-related deaths

One of the world’s most prominent medical doctors with expertise in treating COVID-19 has gone on the record with a scathing rebuke of the U.S. government’s approach to fighting the virus. He says the government’s strategy, carried out in cooperation with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the United Nations World Health Organization, has resulted in tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths and is now being followed up with thousands more deaths caused by a mass-injection program.

Dr. Peter McCullough, in a 32-minute interview with journalist Alex Newman, said if this were any other vaccine it would have been pulled from the market by now for safety reasons.

McCullough holds the honor of being the most cited medical doctor on COVID-19 treatments at the National Library of Medicine, with more than 600 citations. He has testified before Congress and won numerous awards during his distinguished medical career.

Between Dec. 14 and April 23, there were 3,544 deaths reported to the CDC’s Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System [VAERS], along with 12,619 serious injuries.

One might expect these numbers would trigger an exhaustive investigation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. But the opposite has occurred. According to McCullough, the government has taken what amounts to a passing glance at the alarming numbers and dismissed them with a bare minimum of scrutiny.

“A typical new drug at about five deaths, unexplained deaths, we get a black-box warning, your listeners would see it on TV, saying it may cause death,” McCullough said. “And then at about 50 deaths it’s pulled off the market.”

5 hours with Enzio Buche

From time to time I get referrers to my blog from comments made on the LDS Freedom Forum. I sometimes check these links to see what is being said about me. The last one I checked led me to an interesting report of a meeting that a couple people had with Enzio Buche, an emeritus LDS General Authority who has apparently lost his faith in Christ and the LDS Restoration.

A World Wide Secret Combination Exposed

I recently got the following email from a reader of this blog:

“This man is a dead man walking for doing this. I watched the whole thing to honor his brave act in laying this out in the light.

He is Altiyan Childs, winner of the Australian X Factorv. He is explaining the oath of silence he took, and how he was rescued from the secret combination, mentioned in the Book of Mormon, by Jesus Christ. He is revealing their playbook.

They will not let him live for this, according to the oath he took. They will slay him for the oath’s sake, he knows it will be a horrible death, and they will kill his family also for this.

But he has valiantly laid his life on the line for his Savior and true Lord, Jesus Christ.

(Sadly Altiyan does not address the masonic/Jesuit relationship. He points out that John Wilkes Booth, the murderer of Abraham Lincoln was a 33 degree Mason, but fails to mention that Booth was also a Jesuit who fled to the Vatican for safety after committing his diabolical deed. Nevertheless, everyone should watch the video. Every Mason is committing treason against this country and the God of Israel. Most are really good people doing it unwittingly. They initially join the brotherhood for community and thinking they will be able to excel in their worldly pursuits.

One thing I found interesting about this very long expose: It actually substantiates the fact that Satan and his followers in the pre-existence came to earth and took upon themselves physical bodies.

Years ago I wrote a very controversial post documenting the fact that Satan and those that chose to following him in the pre-existence also came to mortal probation along with everyone else. Here is my article

Here is a quote out of the expose

“I was told that those who govern the power upon the earth are those who have fallen from the higher heavens.. I was shown how earth was part of a biochemical testing zone using both fallen and divine thought-forms in determining what type of intelligence could eventually free itself from the countless physical rounds of existence controlled by the fallen

The Parable of the Sower

On a more serious note, this same rancher challenged me to re-read the parable of the sower and we had some interesting conversations about it.

Have you ever wondered why some people gravitate toward the word of God and believe it, choosing to hold onto the iron rod, while others seem to be indifferent to it or even annoyed by it and totally rejecting it?

After accepting his challenge and having some discussions with him, I feel as if I understand the plan of salvation a little better and a little deeper.

The parable seems very simplistic as a surface reading, however I would suggest that it is incredibly deep, addressing how spirits are created out of intelligence and why various people respond the way they do to the gospel message.

I want to share some observations I have had about the parable. As with everything I write about and all of my interpretations of scripture, these speculations about the parable of the sower should be considered pure speculation. The purpose of sharing these speculations is to provide some food for thought and drive people further into the scriptures.

To begin this exercise, I would now like to encourage everyone to first read the parable in all three of the gospels where it shows up; Matthew 13, Mark 4 and Luke 8.

You may want to form your own opinions and interpretations about the parable before reading my observations and speculations. Compare what I come up with to what you came up with.

I would suggest that on the surface, the narrative seems rather simple and straight forward.

However, I would also suggest that perhaps the meaning is much deeper and nuanced than expected.

I suggest reading from the JST version, although I have only noticed one significant change from the KJV.

For your convenience, I have provided all three versions next to each other for comparison

Matthew 13:1-21
Parable of the Sower
JST Mark 4:1-17
Parable of the Sower
JST Luke 8:4-15
Parable of the Sower
Jesus teaches the multitude in parables of the sower, the tares, and the mustard seed

Matt 13:1 And it came to pass the same day, Jesus went out of the house and sat by the seaside.

Matt 13:2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

Matt 13:3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying,

Behold, a sower went forth to sow.

Matt 13:4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls came and devoured them up.

Matt 13:5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth; and forthwith they sprang up; and when the sun was up, they were scorched
because they had no deepness of earth; and because they had no root, they withered away.

Matt 13:6 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them.

Matt 13:7 But others fell into good ground
and brought forth fruit: some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirtyfold. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matt 13:8 Then the disciples came and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

Matt 13:9 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

Matt 13:10 For whosoever receiveth, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance;

Matt 13:11 But whosoever continueth not to receive, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Matt 13:12 Therefore, speak I to them in parables because they, seeing, see not; and hearing, they hear not; neither do they understand.

Matt 13:13 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias concerning them, which saith, By hearing, ye shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing, ye shall see and shall not perceive.

Matt 13:14 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their hearts, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Matt 13:15 But blessed are your eyes, for they see, and your ears, for they hear. And blessed are you because these things are come unto you, that you might understand them.

Matt 13:16 And verily, I say unto you, Many righteous prophets have desired to see these days which you see, and have not seen them, and to hear that which you hear, and have not heard.

Matt 13:17 Hear ye, therefore, the parable of the sower.

Matt 13:18 When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom and understandeth not, then cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart; this is he who received seed by the wayside.

Matt 13:19 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word and readily with joy receiveth it, yet he hath not root in himself, and endureth but for a while; for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

Matt 13:20 He also who received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Matt 13:21 But he who received seed into the good ground is he who heareth the word and understandeth and endureth, which also beareth fruit and bringeth forth, some a hundredfold, some sixty, and some thirty.

John’s mission–He baptizes Jesus–Commencement of Jesus’ ministry

Mark 4:1 And he began again to teach by the seaside; and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

Mark 4:2 And he taught them many things by parables.

Mark 4:3 And he said unto them in his doctrine, Hearken; behold, there went out a sower to sow;

Mark 4:4 And it came to pass as he sowed, some fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

Mark 4:5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up
because it had no depth of earth; but when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

Mark 4:6 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it; and it yielded no fruit.

Mark 4:7 And other seed fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up, and increased, and brought forth, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

Mark 4:8 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Mark 4:9 And when he was alone with the twelve and they that believed in him, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

Mark 4:10 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but unto them that are without, all things are done in parables,

Mark 4:11 That seeing, they may see and not perceive; and hearing, they may hear and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted and their sins should be forgiven them.

Mark 4:12 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables?

Mark 4:13 The sower soweth the word.

Mark 4:14 And these are they by the wayside, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

Mark 4:15 And these are they likewise which receive the word on stony ground, who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness, and have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time; and afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.

Mark 4:16 And these are they who receive the word among thorns, such as hear the word, and the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in choke the word; and it becometh unfruitful.

Mark 4:17 And these are they who receive the word on good ground, such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

Parable of the sower–Brethren of Christ–Christ stills the tempest and raises Jairus’ daughter–Swine drowned

Luke 8:4 And when much people were gathered together and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable, saying,

Luke 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed; and as he sowed,

some fell by the wayside; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

Luke 8:6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away because it lacked moisture.

Luke 8:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it and choked it.

Luke 8:8 And others fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit a hundredfold.

Luke 8:9 And when he had said these things, he cried, He who hath ears to hear, let him hear. And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

Luke 8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God; but to others in parables, that, seeing, they might not see and, hearing, they might not understand.

Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

Luke 8:12 That which fell by the wayside are they
who hear; and the devil cometh and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Luke 8:13 That which fell on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and they have no root, but for a while believe and in a time of temptation fall away.

Luke 8:14 And that which fell among the thorns are they who, when they have heard, go forth and are choked with cares, and riches, and pleasures of life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

Luke 8:15 But that which fell on the good ground are they who receive the word in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep what they hear, and bring forth fruit with patience.

Here are some excerpts from conversations I have had with various people on this topic.. all of this should be considered pure speculation and is provided for food for thought and to encourage you to search a little deeper in the scriptures..

Why is this parable so foundational and profoundly important? Because Christ indicates that it provides the interpretive keys for understanding all of the other parables that he gave!!

“And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?” JST Mark 4:12

BTW I don’t know if you noticed it, but there was a very significant clarification in the JST. Mark 4:1

KJV said ” 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

JST said  10 For whosoever receiveth, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance;  1 But whosoever continueth not to receive, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

I love that clarification… the parable suggests that everyone “hath” to begin with, but some ultimately don’t “receiveth” it.

To me it suggests that if you can accept the initial portion of the word of God (seed) that is given, and additional words of God that will follow, you will be given more additional truth.. If not, that which you had already been given will be taken away. etc.

Luke 8:11 provides a foundational key to understanding the parable:

Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.

However the above needs to be viewed in the context of the next explanation given by Christ

Luke 8:12 That [seed] which fell by the wayside are they who hear; and the devil cometh and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Did you catch that?? [editorial note: if you are viewing this through gmail, this post may be truncated. click on the link.

Although Christ defines the “seed” as the “word of God“, the next passage reveals that the “seed” also represents all of the inhabitants of the world”!!!

Here is what I am getting at.

First of all, there seems to be a discrepancy at face value because one would assume that if the seed is the word of God, it cannot be the inhabitants of the world.

Counterintuitive right?

One could suppose there could still be translation errors, and other possible explanations HOWEVER I love finding apparent discrepancies because often times if you dig deep enough you find out that there is no discrepancy, only a deeper fuller meaning.

So here is my current speculation on the topic..

If the Father created the Son by the word of His power, making the Son the literal WORD of God in the flesh… is it possible that since Christ in turn created all of the inhabitants of the world, by the word of His power.. in a similar way, all of the intelligences that he organized had the holy spirit placed in their spiritual hearts prior to being born into the world to see if the WORD could take root in their hearts and grow during their physical probationary test ???

In other words, the various places that the seed is landing is not referring to geographical places on earth, that would not be a vary fair way to determine salvation and degrees of glory, rather, the seed is landing in the hearts of each mortal man to see if it will grow..

Wayside-heart: the word was devoured by fouls before it could take root

Stony places-heart: the word was scorched by the sun and withered because no deepness of earth no root. No moisture.

Thorny-heart, etc., etc., choked with cares, and riches, and pleasures of life

To me this would be a profoundly revealing concept that would explain other things…

For instance we know that there are some people in this life who followed Satan in the preexistence and will ultimately be Sons of Perdition and yet, we are informed that the light of Christ lights everyone who comes into the world!!!

Every single person born into this life is “alive in Christ” and comes into it as a holy temple of God… Why? because the word of God is dwelling in their tabernacle.

It is not until one reaches the age of accountability and sins that the temple is polluted and the person becomes the “natural man” which is an enemy to God.

The Gospel is the good news that the natural man can become a new creature of the Holy Ghost by believing and repenting and accepting the ordinances of salvation and receiving the mystical spiritual REBIRTH.

I recall reading a curious passage in the Book of Mormon that suggested that all people born into the world initially know good from evil and innately understand the laws of God, etc..

So.. lets suppose that the JST and even the KJV are both correct in stating that the seed is the world of God but also, at the same time,  represents the inhabitants of the world.. when they are initially born into the world, to me it would make perfect sense because the WORD comes embedded in the chamber of the persons heart initially until it is cast out or allowed to wither from lack of nurture etc…

It is Satan that seeks to replace the word of God in the hearts of men with darkness..

10 Otherwise Satan seeketh to turn their hearts away from the truth, that they become blinded and understand not the things which are prepared for them. (D&C 78)

All spirits of man were innocent in the beginning and they already had “light and truth” within them.. but the “wicked one” takes away that truth and light through disobedience and tradition:

  • 38 Every spirit of man was innocent in the beginning; and God having redeemed man from the fall, men became again, in their infant state, innocent before God.
  • 39 And that wicked one cometh and taketh away light and truth, through disobedience, from the children of men, and because of the tradition of their fathers. D&C 93

Notice how the above narrative points out that light and truth is in the spirit of man from the beginning (because they are created in the spiritual image of God) and that the wicked one takes away the light and truth!

With this in mind… read D&C 93 21- which reiterates that Christ was in the beginning of the creation of the world with the Father..

.. then verse 23 transitions to Joseph and perhaps some of his sanctified brethren assuring them that they were also in the beginning with God and were created by Christ from the spirit of truth..

.. and the in verse 29 the narrative transitions to the inhabitants of the WORLD:

Man was also in the beginning with God..”  however if you back out the punctuation… it seems to be making a possible distinction between the “spirit of truth” from which Christ and Joseph and the church of the First Born are created and organized from, to “intelligence” which is singularly differentiated from the spirit of truth..

.. the narrative explains that the agency of man and the condemnation of man is based on what was “plainly manifest to them” in the beginning yet they “received not the light” which is consistent with what the Lord was referring to just before the parable of the sower, with regard to blasphemy against the holy ghost

every man whose spirit receiveth not the light is under condemnation

You can actually give something to someone without them willingly receiving it!!!

For what doth it profit a man if a gift is bestowed upon him, and he receive not the gift? Behold, he rejoices not in that which is given unto him, neither rejoices in him who is the giver of the gift. D&C 88:33

The key is to receive the truth which is the word of God (the everlasting gospel):

9 Q. What are we to understand by the angel ascending from the east, Revelation 7th chapter and 2nd verse?
A. We are to understand that the angel ascending from the east is he to whom is given the seal of the living God over the twelve tribes of Israel; wherefore, he crieth unto the four angels having the everlasting gospel, saying: Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. And, if you will receive it, this is Elias which was to come to gather together the tribes of Israel and restore all things.

We have been programmed to believe that everyone comes here to earth without light and knowledge and that the test is to see who will receive the truth once we get here.. however is it possible that the first presenting of truth took place BEFORE we get here.

All spirit beings were created by the Word of God with the Word of God embedded in the process in which the intelligence was formulated into the image  and likeness of God.. in fact, is it possible that that is what is meant be being created in the image and LIKENESS of God??

27. And I, God, said unto mine Only Begotten, which was with me from the beginning, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and it was so. JST Gen 1:27

Light and truth comes embedded in the heart of all people who are born into this world because their raw intelligence from which they are organized was formated in the image and likeness of God.. and this probation is to see if the seed that was embedded in their hearts will be received and nourished.. (making every child who is born into this life, the seed, or word of God because they were created in the image of God’s word from the raw intelligence from which they came)

Notice how the narrative continues on to state that

the elements are the tabernacle of God; yea, man is the tabernacle of God, even temples and whatsoeer temple is defiled, God shall destroy that temple.

Every man that comes into this world starts out as a holy temple because the word of God created us with the word of God placed inside the chambers of our spiritual hearts even if the raw intelligence from which a person is created is unable to comprehend the light..

The spirits of men (seeds) are planted in the earthly mortal bodies to experience life and be tested… to see if the word of God can germinate and grow and flourish in us.

If the holy temple of God becomes defiled without repentance and the spiritual rebirth and enduring to the end that it will ultimately be destroyed as a defiled temple..

Do a keyword search on “heart” is it mind blowing..

.. everything hinges on what takes place in the heart… either the spirit of God (Word of God) resides in the heart or the evil one does. The battle is for control of the heart and the parable reveals that the seed is placed in the heart of man…

“..and the devil cometh and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved..”

verse 39 presupposes that EVERY holy temple already has light and truth in it until the wicked one cometh and taketh away light and truth through disobedience from the children of men and from the traditions of their fathers…. etc.  I believe that ultimately the same comprehension of light potentiality takes place here that took place prior to this earth existence..

.. see Dyers expose on the pre-earth judgement that is addressed in the following articles..

“There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. “

The Doctrine of Nehor Part 3

Again let me emphasize this interpretation of the parable of the sower is only speculation on my part.. do your own research..

another exerpts-

“—–Sorry… It took me a bit with all my distractions to get what you were driving at, and now  it’s clear…

Your explanation to me is a given…

The light of Christ is the original word/seed that we are given, actually a part of that Section 93 explains meticulously.

The parable of the sower and surrounding parables then define those that will be given the opportunity line upon line to be given more even to the knowledge of God.

The parable of the sower warns of how

1. “understandeth it not”

2. No “root in themselves”

3. Cares, the deceitfulness of riches, pleasures, and the lusts of other things entering in,

 allow

1.Satan, immediately to extinguish the light of Christ (section 38 verse five)

2. Dehydration, seed is separated from the living water…

3. Choked..Loud, competition to the still small voice.

(30 I tell you these things because of your prayers; wherefore, treasure up wisdom in your bosoms, lest the wickedness of men reveal these things unto you by their wickedness, in a manner which shall speak in your ears with a voice louder than that which shall shake the earth; but if ye are prepared ye shall not fear.

Section 93 is one of my favorites in proving Josephs revelations…truth testifying and proving the validity of the early tack of the 1830 foundation aligned with Christ’s parables and New Testament Christianity!

I have memorized the first part of section 93 because of its importance in my mind… also section 38 bolsters your conclusion and proves it beyond  doubt…

3 I am the same which spake, and the world was made, and all things came by me.

4 I am the same which have taken the Zion of Enoch into mine own bosom; and verily, I say, even as many as have believed in my name, for I am Christ, and in mine own name, by the virtue of the blood which I have spilt, have I pleaded before the Father for them.

5 But behold, the residue of the wicked have I kept in chains of darkness until the judgment of the great day, which shall come at the end of the earth;

6 And even so will I cause the wicked to be kept, that will not hear my voice but harden their hearts, and wo, wo, wo, is their doom.

7 But behold, verily, verily, I say unto you that mine eyes are upon you. I am in your midst and ye cannot see me;

8 But the day soon cometh that ye shall see me, and know that I am; for the veil of darkness shall soon be rent, and he that is not purified shall not abide the day.

9 Wherefore, gird up your loins and be prepared. Behold, the kingdom is yours, and the enemy shall not overcome.

10 Verily I say unto you, ye are clean, but not all; and there is none else with whom I am well pleased;

11 For all flesh is corrupted before me; and the powers of darkness prevail upon the earth, among the children of men, in the presence of all the hosts of heaven—

12 Which causeth silence to reign, and all eternity is pained, and the angels are waiting the great command to reap down the earth, to gather the tares that they may be burned; and, behold, the enemy is combined.

Supposition, Ha!  You were given line upon line.. with a little help from your word searching brain box…LOL

P.S.  Read section 38 along with 93

Thought I would expound a bit more my comments “actually a part of”

that you explained well in your speculation…and I believe.

“The light of Christ is the original word/seed that we are given, actually a part of, that Section 93 explains meticulously. The parable of the sower and surrounding parables then define those that will be given the opportunity line upon line to be given more even to the knowledge of God.”

29 Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.

30 All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it, to act for itself, as all intelligence also; otherwise there is no existence.

31 Behold, here is the agency of man, and here is the condemnation of man; because that which was from the beginning is plainly manifest unto them, and they receive not the light.

I believe section 93 parallels the understanding we received from the sower. You also identified to me in your “speculation”  that the seed is planted in us or we are the seed…

The parable of the Sower also 93 identifies that we either nourishing and allow it to grow through acceptance and reception line upon line of the Word or we received not the light. Also the deceptions that are identified in sections before and following the Law Sections 41 through 46… Beware lest you are seduced by evil spirits, doctrines of devils or the commandments of men, Beware lest ye are deceived…

This is why the first part of the Book of Commandments is so fun to me because it gives the importance of the reception of the Word that is required to Oliver and Hyrum, Sections 6,11,18 and others and pitfalls are parallel to the sower.
