Temporary Private Status of the Blog

I am getting ready to send out my first e-Newsletter which contains part 11 of the current series about Section 124, the Nauvoo Boarding House of the Lord, and the role of Nauvoo in the end times narrative. It should go out within a week or two.

After send I the email, I will notify everyone that subscribes to this blog that the email has been sent.

If you do not get the email but think you should be on the list, you will need to check your spam folder and see if it is in there.

Who is Currently on the List?

If you have sent me your email and asked to be subscribed, you should be on the list and you should receive the first email.

Also, if you are an email subscriber to my blog, you should also be on the list and should receive the newsletter.

If you have communicated with me in the past through my Onewhoiswatching gmail account there is a chance you are on the newsletter list.

(There may be a few isolated instances where I have taken the liberty of deleting specific emails for security reasons. If you have repeatedly tried to get on the list but never get an email, don’t worry about it, it just isn’t meant to be, move on.)

How Do I Unsubscribe?

If any of you wish to be unsubscribed after getting the first newsletter, simply respond to the newsletter or send a new email to my email account and put unsubscribe in the message header.

People Who Have Subscribed to my Blog through WordPress

If you have subscribed to my blog through your wordpress account, YOU ARE NOT ON MY ENEWSLETTER list

Because I do not have your email address!

If you want to receive the periodic emails, you must contact me at onewhoiswatching [at] gmail [dot] com.

That is one of the reasons I had temporarily made my blog private instead of public. I needed to get your attention.

The Temporary Status of My Blog

There are a few reasons why I temporarily made my blog private and will be doing so again FOR A SHORT TIME.

One of the reasons is so that I can get everyone’s attention about the newsletter. Another reason will probably be discussed in the newsletter.

As you have noticed, when I change the status of my blog from public to private, it has the following statement when you try to enter it

This site is marked private by its owner. If you would like to view it, you’ll need two things:

  1. A WordPress.com account. Don’t have an account? All you need is an email address and password — register here!
  2. Permission from the site owner. Once you’ve created an account, log in and revisit this screen to request an invite.

If you already have both of these, great!

Please Stop Asking for Admittance

I have been inundated with countless people requesting admittance to my blog when it is blocked from public view. Some people have made two and three requests.

I have also been contacted by several people who are upset that I would limit access to the 500+ articles and blog posts, etc. They feel it is a resource that should not be limited.

Please understand that the change of status is only temporary.

Please do not request permission to enter the site when it is marked private. I rarely change the blog from public to private, but when I do, I do not let anyone access the site. Not even the Pope with a secret handshake.

I will be marking the site as private once again shortly after this post has been sent out. It will probably only be private for a week or two unless the rapture or a fast moving bus should blindside me. If there is a particular topic that you need to review right now, please do so quickly. Find what you need and copy it.

Thank you for your consideration
