Reality Check: “Epidemiologist [at the Imperial College of London] behind Highly-Cited Coronavirus Model Admits He Was Wrong, Drastically Revises Model”

If you want to have a reality check on just how serious the CV really is or isn’t, watch the video below.

If you are pressed for time, begin at the 1:25 mark and listen for about 15-25 minutes

It is really quite shocking how this illness is being used as a pretext to destroy the economy.

As you know, one of the primary reasons that governments all over the world including ours have taken the drastic measures they have, is because the model published by the Imperial College of London projected catastrophic numbers of potential deaths from the virus.

But now the guy who created the model has made a shocking admission-

“Epidemiologist [at the Imperial College of London] behind Highly-Cited Coronavirus Model Admits He Was Wrong, Drastically Revises Model”

Other researchers who had published credible and much more conservative models are shaking their heads in wonderment as to why the powers that be only focused on the sensational model published by the Imperial College.

But there is more to this story.

It has to do with projections of how many deaths are related to the rise in unemployment.

(confess, I never would have thought about that because I had no idea that unemployment had a serious affect on the mortality rate)

Sadly, the Imperial College and the mainstream media conveniently neglected to provide that model concerning the increase of deaths when unemployment rises when they provided the erroneous one about the virus. Had they done so, governments may not have been quite so quick to overreact.

Will the mainstream media report this????

I think not.

The hype and hysteria and fearmongering and pressure to keep the economy shut down will probably continue because there is a secret agenda behind the story-line being created for public consumption.

Special thanks again to the Fishers for passing this on.
[Editorial Note] I am not suggesting that the Coronavirus in not real or that people are not dying from it or that we should not take precautions. Clearly it can be dangerous and deadly and we need to use good judgment.
The question is, does it justify the extreme response that it is getting with regard to crippling or destroying the economy and taking away civil liberties.
BTW Influenza — known as the common flu — has infected as many as 45 million Americans since October and killed as many as 46,000, according to estimates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
This compares to about 100,000 people infected with the Coronavirus and about 1500 deaths during the last two months that it has been detected in America. We learn from other countries like China that the disease begins to flat-line within about three or four months.
It appears as if the panic and histaria created by national leaders and the liberal media is unwarranted and that the measures taken with regard to the economy are unjustified.
It also appears as if many more deaths will be caused by the rising unemployment numbers than by the virus. Further, if the entire economy collapses, the death toll potentially becomes astronomical from the chaos that will follow.
Indeed, the “cure” may be much more deadly than the disease.
