The Iron Rod Podcast has a new home.

http://ironrodpodcast.com/

In this episode we discuss the advantages of MD’s Reformatted Scriptures over the traditional formatting and also discuss some of the changes that have occurred over time between the Book of Covenants and the D&C.

We also discuss plans for taking the new scripture format and amalgamating the revelations in the D&C with the true history of the LDS restoration. We will be using white space, chapter heading area and footnotes integrate critical historic, doctrinal and prophetic context into the various canons of LDS scripture.  Everyone that is interested is invited to participate.

I ordered the Scriptures about two weeks ago. I am still waiting for them to come. I have often thought that the history of the church and the doctrine and covenants should be one complete volume. That way the historical context as well been through the revelations. Very much like the book of Mormon is.

    • Ryan, I asked MD about this and here is his reply:

“Thanks for bringing it to my attention. It takes about one week between placing the order and printing, and then another week for shipping unless an express shipping option is chosen. With Christmas, I suspect things slowed down a bit.

He should have tracking information from the printer…if he still doesn’t have them in a few days send him my way.
